We just dropped Kevin off to his first day of kindergarten. After I gave him all my final “goodbyes” & “don’t forgets” I stood back & waited for them to whisk him away. He took one final look back. Even though I was standing behind the glass door, I could see straight through those brown […]

i can’t imagine what this will feel like! dropping benjy off at daycare was so traumatic for me, i had to make olli do it everyday!

Sarah, that first day was really hard for me. But now it’s getting more normal to take him over there. He is enjoying himself and already learning so much. I don’t like that he’s getting so big, but it does feel “right” that he’s there. Definitely makes me want to squeeze baby Damian every single chance I get 😀

I’ve been a little bit of everywhere & just got home today. I don’t typically book more than one wedding a weekend, so this week was an epic exception. Here are some previews of them, plus a bonus little tidbit from Abby & Brett’s local Dayton wedding from just a couple weeks ago: Abby was […]

Renee, thanks so much! I truly enjoyed being there! It was a beautiful day, but I keep telling Yana that my favorite part was just how much love was felt by everyone. It was such a celebration, the way a wedding should be! I hope you all enjoy the pictures! Michelle, thanks for always being so encouraging! I love that we get to keep up with each other and share our work. I hope we actually meet someday 😀

Seriously gorgeous, Andrea! Those brides are all very lucky that you were there to capture their weddings! 🙂

Damian turned one. I want to be a good mom. There just wasn’t a lot of time to really sit down & plan this party, so I entered into the weekend a little frantic. I had one full day set aside to decorate & bake for a party that didn’t have a theme. There were […]

I saw this on Design Sponge & crossed my fingers that illustrator Tad Carpenter sold this print. I wasn’t the only one who e-mailed him, so he did decide to release these beautiful letterpress prints in white & brown versions! Check out his blog for info on how to get your own! No matter what […]

Oh I love this, it is so true!

And of course it looks adorable in your home.

When I met Erin & Pete, I could see how sweet they would be to work with. She shyly told me that they weren’t photogenic, then they burst out in laughter over some hilarious memory of previous self portraits. I completely disagreed. When two people really care about each other & feel comfortable together, it […]
