    i was in speech and debate in high school. we had to be dressed, ready, and AT SCHOOL at 6:00am. on a saturday.

    i wasn’t a morning person at all. i’m still not. but i’d just plaster a smile on my face until i felt like actually smíling. and it worked.

    eventually, the smile would be genuine.
